Error #50: Wait for dive computer response timed out

Hola, he intentado actualizar mi Shearwater Petrel de la version de Firmware 11 a la 12 pero me da un error, a alguien le ha pasado, acabo de mandar un E-mail a Shearwater a ver que pasa. Voy a probar en otro ordenador ya que el Bluetooth que trae igual no va muy fino, por probar...

Pues tiene toda la pinta de ser cosa del Bluetooth. A mi me dio algún problema con el driver de Windows 7 pero al final me instaló uno (Bluetotth Generic Radio, o algo así [FLUSHED FACE]) y pude actualizar el Petrel a la 1.2 y hoy mismo el Predator a la 5.6.

Me han contestado muy rapidamente de Shearwater;

The first thing to try is to move the Petrel closer to the computer.

Next, put new batteries in the Petrel. Sometimes a low battery will cause problems with the Petrel’s Bluetooth.

If that does not help, the Bluetooth dongle on the computer may not work properly. We will send you a new one if you need it.

Please let me know how it goes.

Aunque la pila solo llevaba un buceo, he colocado otra pila completamente nueva y a la primera.

Hola Andrés, creo que el problema de pila lo tenía con el Petrel, no con un Predator.
En cuanto a este, ayer actualicé a la última versión 5.6 y tienen buena pinta las novedades.

Hola, Habeís probado con el nuevo firmware V18?

He intentado actualizar el Petrel desde dos ordenadores diferentes, con Windows XP, y el Bluetooth me reconoce el Petrel, inicio el Sherwater Desktop, cargo el archivo y sigo todo el procedimiento para la transmisión de datos, y en el Petrel se queda con la leyenda "Wait Cmnd", y no hay manera.

También he cambiado la pila y ni por esas!!

Sabeís que puede pasar?

Con Windows 7 no he tenido problemas en actualizar el Predator y el Petrel, utilizando los drivers que lleva el S.O. cuando conecto el Bluetooth USB de Shearwater, lo reconoce como "Radio Bluetooth"

No sé.... estoy ya un poco aburrido!

El caso es que antes no tenía ningún problema, he actualizado el firmware al menos en dos ocasiones, y descargado las inmersiones sin más, pero ahora nada de nada.

Desde el soporte técnico de Sherwater, que por cierto tardan muy poco en contestar, todo lo que dicen estaba ya "visto"...

Voy a probar en el ordenador de un amigo, no se vaya a ser que se haya "espilonchado" algo en el mío, y ahí esté el problema.

A mi en el petrel me sale error 175!!!! Y no he podido ni actualizar ni bajar inmersiones.

Actualizado a la última versión, parece que tiene que tener la pila a tope, para que no de problemas.

Como dije antes, como el Shearwater te empiece a dar problemas, malo.

Mándalo al SAT (Narked) y que no te líen con historias de actualización del software ni vainas.

Si es posible, que te lo cambien en garantía. Si no quieren hacer eso, que le cambien lo que le tengan que cambiar, normalmente el sensor de presión.
